To be used with TR-FP, Dog Training - Flirt Pole, Chase 'N Pull Dog Toy. Get extras before they wear out--both the furry outer covering and/or the squeaker. Get different sizes and colors! They simply loop on. Do not fully untie the rope on your Flirt Pole, Chase 'N Pull Dog Toy. Loosen the knot on the rope of the flirt pole, slip the melted mushroom head of the rope through the knot, leaving the knot intact. Remove the chewed-up lure and replace it with a new lure. Push the melted mushroom head of the rope through the knot and tighten the knot! You can use small, medium, or large lures with the regular sized flirt poles. You can only use small lures with the small flirt pole.

Often used as a dog toy, your dog will have so much fun chasing after the stuffed squeaker toy attached to the end of the flirt pole. An interactive dog toy that your dog will absolutely love. Fun and exercise for you both!

In Dog Training, we use flirt poles to measure your dog's hunter/prey drive.

As you move in a circle, jiggle, and jerk the lure end as often as you can. This will raise the prey drive your dog will feel about the lure. If your dog doesn't slow down and watch it pull away from them after awhile, but keeps on going after it so close at full capability for so long, then your dog more than likely will kill prey animals - chickens, ducks, squirrels, chipmunks, etc.

Lokee watches the flirt pole lure pull away after 10 minutes. After 15 minutes she'll actually stand and watch it pull away. This is an example of a normal prey drive. I can't recommend this Flirt Pole to you enough! Lokee jumps with joy when I first pull out the Flirt Pole!!! When I use it on grass Lokee even dives for it! She always catches the lure end when she dives for it!!! Great laughter and fun is an extra benefit of the Flirt Pole!
